We have considerable experience in working with major companies in power generation and transmission. We provide highly-qualified, company-trained craftsmen and materials to complete projects on-time and within budget. Experienced supervision and management ensure all contracts are conducted in a safe and timely manner, with maximum compatibility for client operations scheduling.

Many of our recent projects have involved work associated with CCGT Power Station. At Powergen =killingholme, for instance, we carried out thermal and acoustic insulation to gas and steam turbine, plus all associated high-pressure and auxiliary pipework and equipment. These contracts were carried out for Siemens KWU of Germany. When the plant was commissioned, Powergen awarded us a 2 year term maintenance contract. During the contract, we carried out three major outages on the gas turbines HRSG's, along with all day-to-day works on a 24 availability basis. We were subsequently awarded an ongoing contract and we are now carrying out insulation maintenance on this site in partnership with other trades supplying a wide range of services such as scaffolding, painting etc.

Following this we were awarded a similar contract by NEI ABB Gas Turbines Ltd., for the insulation of steam and Gas turbines, all associated piping and ducting on the National Power Killingholme 'A' CCGT. This led to a major contract to modify all gas turbine acoustic enclosures throughout the commissioning period. We were also awarded the maintenance contract by ABB Operations and maintenance for the site.

On the Didcot 'B' Project, we carried out the insulation of all steam pipework, balance of plant and air-inlet ducting as a direct contract for Siemens Plc. At Kings Lynn CCGT we completed similar range of works in partnership with a German company.

If there is one thing that is likely to prevent a job from being completed on-time and under-budget it is to ignore proper safe working practices. And nowhere is this more important than in the hazardous environments of petrochemical and related installations. That is why we pursue a comprehensive ongoing Safety Training Programme for all Operatives which includes specific courses, in-house seminars, regular 'toolbox' talks and the requirement for each one to complete the nationally recognised Humberside Passport Safety Scheme.
